I earned a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in elementary education from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and a Master's Degree in education from Florida International University. Before college I was a Catholic School student from 1st thru 12th grade.
I have been teaching for 30 plus years. I have been at St. Francis for the last twelve years and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach here.
My husband and I have been married for 28 years and we have 3 wonderful children. Two of my children attended St. Francis. I have a cat and a golden retriever named Watson. I like to cook, read, and spend time with my family.
In 6th grade Religion, we will explore the Old Testament, celebrate the seasons of the Liturgical Calendar, and deepen our understanding of prayer and our prayer life. Some highlights of the year are our visit to a synagogue, celebrating a Passover Seder, and presenting the Shadow Stations of the Cross.
