I have been teaching for 16 years with 14 of them here at SFA. I am currently the Early Childhood Center Specials teacher giving instruction in PE, Spanish, Art, and Music. I also teach 1st-4th grade lower school music. My passion and experience with the performing arts have found a home here at St. Francis as I share my love of language, movement, and music with our talented students. I have been able to create a cross-curricular experience for our students fusing all of the elements of the arts. My favorite part of teaching is getting to see the culmination of the work of the students in our wonderful performances at the Christmas and Spring programs. I also direct the children's lower school choir that sings at our school masses.
Teaching at SFA has been very special for me as an educator and a parent. My daughter attended this school from Jr. Kindergarten through 8th grade and she feels that SFA really prepared her for high school. I have felt first hand the loving environment we create for the students here teaching their minds but also nurturing their spirit. The support of community and generosity to others is a huge part of the SFA family and I am proud to teach at a school that instills these values.
