My name is Amanda (Mandy) Hunt. I am from Memphis and attended Catholic school from first grade through high school. I graduated from the University of Memphis with my Bachelors of Science in Education. While finishing my degree, I began to work in the Extended Care Program at St. Francis and absolutely loved the school and the teachers. I completed one of my student teaching placements in the fourth grade at SFA, and it was during that time that I knew I wanted to be a part of this wonderful school! I accepted a position as a Kindergarten teacher beginning in the Fall of 2007. I have taught Kindergarten for 9 years and PreK for 2 years. This is my second year back in the PreK classroom and love it! I look forward to each day where I get to see the excitement in the room as they are learning and playing.
During my first year teaching, I have married my husband, Brian, and we have two daughters, Payton (3rd grade) and Madison (K). They both began school at SFA in PreK and have loved every minute. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching tv, shopping, and going to the beach.
