I am originally from Miami, Florida. I moved to Memphis after graduating from high school in 1997 to attend the University of Memphis on a baton twirling scholarship. While completing my student teaching for my Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education, I was assigned to St. Francis. I fell in love with the school and when I graduated in 2002, I began teaching 4K at SFA. I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University in 2005. During my time at SFA I have been blessed to teach 4K, kindergarten, and 3rd grade. I am excited to begin my first year as a 1st grade teacher this year!
I married my husband Chad (an SFA/SBA graduate) in 2007 and we have two children, Carrington (11) and Lochlann (8). We also have two cats named Tonks and Lupin.
I love SFA and all of the wonderful things that it has to offer children. I have enjoyed teaching dance and baton in the Extended Care program, as well as, choreographing the school's Spring Musicals. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and vacationing in our other favorite place, Disney World!
