Vicki R. Gourgeot PLTW/PE Teacher

 

Hello, my name is Vicki Gourgeot. I am from New Orleans where I attended college and earned my BS degree.  I moved to Memphis in 1996 where I continued working on my Masters in Education at University of Memphis.  I am very blessed to be a part of the SBA/SFA family since 2001. Working in a safe and Christian environment gives me so much joy!!  Administration, Staff and Faculty are very supportive of each other and this creates a feeling of Home away from Home environment!!!!!  

 

Children are such a blessing and I love working with them everyday at school.  The ECC and lower school students are so excited when they come to PE and PLTW.  We play so many fun physical educational games and do many hands on fun projects in PLTW.  I am always amazed how creative and adventurist the  students are here at SFA!!

 

My husband and I have have a big family.  I am very proud to say that we have 7 children and have been blessed with 9 adorable grandchildren.  Our family is still growing.  We are so excited because we have another grandson and granddaughter on the way.  We also have a special fur baby.  Her name is "Priscilla".

When I am not at school, I love being with my family.  I enjoy traveling, exercising and spending as much time as I can outdoors.
