Mrs. Hunt
My name is Amanda (Mandy) Hunt. I am from Memphis and attended Catholic school from first grade through high school. I graduated from the University of Memphis with my Bachelors of Science in Education. While finishing my degree, I began to work in the Extended Care Program at St. Francis and absolutely loved the school and the teachers. I completed one of my student teaching placements in the fourth grade at SFA, and it was during that time that I knew I wanted to be a part of this wonderful school! I accepted a position as a Kindergarten teacher beginning in the Fall of 2007. I have taught Kindergarten for 9 years and PreK for 10 years. I love Preschool! I look forward to each day where I get to see the excitement in the room as they boys and girls are learning and playing.
During my first year teaching, I married my husband, Brian, and we have two daughters, Payton (11th grade) and Madison (8th grade). They both began school at SFA in PreK and have loved every minute. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching tv, shopping, and going to the beach. You may also find me watching my daughter, Payton, marching in the band or at the softball field watching my daughter, Madison. I also love spending time with my big fur baby, Harley and our lab, Cash!
