Meet Ms. Combs

Hi Wolfpack family!

 

My name is Tara Combs, and I am honored to serve SFA as your 4th-8th Grade School Counselor! I have been in education for 10 years, where I spent most of my time teaching Kindergarten and 5th-grade science. While I enjoy teaching, my true passion is supporting students as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I look forward to partnering with parents and teachers to help our middle schoolers navigate these crucial years with confidence. 

 

I am from a small town in Eastern Kentucky. I moved to Memphis in 2022 and have loved calling it home ever since. Outside of school, you can usually find me outdoors, exploring local trails, spending time at Shelby Farms Park, or hunting for the best local coffee shops. I'm also an avid traveler, and a big fan of Disney. So far, I've been to 5 continents and 34 states.

 

I am so grateful to be joining such an amazing community and I can't wait for a fantastic year together!
