About Mrs. Lim

My name is Jocelyn Lim; I was born in the Philippines and have made Tennessee my home for nineteen years now. I am a product of Catholic education, and it is a privilege to be given an opportunity to give back as well as teach here at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. I was on my way to pursue a medical degree when I discovered my calling to becoming an educator. It is such a joy to be able to teach and help children discover what they can do with the gifts that God has given them.

This is going to be my twelfth year working with children. I worked as a Kindergarten and creative dramatics teacher for two years before I taught first grade for three years at Sacred Heart School-Jesuits (now, Ateneo de Cebu) in the Philippines. I also worked as a teacher assistant at Dogwood Elementary School and helped teach math under their RTI program for six years. Now, my teaching journey has led me to this amazing school, and I can’t wait to be able to contribute to such a wonderful school community.

I live in Collierville with my husband Leo, who is a Software Architect at FedEx and my son Lance, a senior at Christian Brothers High School. We love to travel and go to concerts together as well as explore gastronomic experiences from different cultures.
