Welcome!

Welcome to SFA! This is my 2nd year teaching and I love what I do. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Being a teacher at St. Francis is like being part of one big family. I enjoy coming to work each morning. I hope you see that when you come and visit us! I work to create a classroom environment that is encouraging, stimulating and adaptive so that all my students can thrive and become successful learners. Nothing makes me happier than to have students who love to come to school!

 

On the personal side, I was born and raised in Memphis. I went to FACS from Kindergarten all the way to graduation. I went to the University of Memphis and got my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (Human Development and Learning). I got married this summer in the Smokey Mountain National Park! My husband Michael and I have been together 5 years before we got married. We have a cat named Sunny who definitely lives up to his name. He is a ball of sunshine and loves to cuddle. When I',m not at school, I enjoy reading. If the weather is nice, my husband and I enjoy fishing on the weekends when we can.
