Mrs. Carter's Life Away from School

My name is Marilyn Carter and I have two beautiful daughter that either currently attend St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School or attended in the past and have graduated from 8th grade.  My oldest child's name is Lainey Carter, and she is a sophomore at Hutchison in East Memphis .  While Lainey was at SFA, I watched her grow spiritually and academically.  It truly was so special to be a part of her everyday experience. She loved SFA and has done very well in high school.

My youngest daughter's name is Lily Carter and she is now in middle school/6th grade   Lily has truly blossomed into a wonderful student, and I love that I can see her  everyday at SFA.

In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my husband, Russell Carter, and my two girls in our home in Lakeland.  We like to have FAMILY date night on Saturday and go to dinner, movies, bowling, and afterwards often find ourselves getting ice cream or slushies as a wonderful family treat.  I also enjoy watching Lainey dance competitively 5 to 7 nights a week for Dance Dynamics in Bartlett, TN.  If I am not at the dance studio, then you will find me on the soccer field with Lily.  She currently plays for Olé FC as a keeper.

During the summer, I love to visit the beach, leisurely read books, swim with my girls, attend professional development workshops, and make art/crafts.
