Participation fee will be $130 per sport for the 2025-2026 school year for 1st - 8th graders.
Sports included are:
*Basketball for any 5th - 8th Grade boys and Girls
*Parochial Athletic Association (P.A.A.) rules require that 1st – 8th grade participants be either students at St. Francis School or attending PRE through St. Francis Church.
Deadline to register is September 25th
After the deadline, registration forms will only be accepted if space is available.

All Athletes are required to complete the Concussion information sheet and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest information sheet annually.
5th - 8th grade athletes must also have a sports physical and complete the required forms annually.

PAA rules require that participants be either a student at St. Francis School or attending PRE through St. Francis Church.
Guidelines (as stated in the SFA Parent/Student Handbook): Athletic Probation (5th -8th Grades) - SFA requires students participating in athletics must maintain a minimum of 2.0 GPA on each report card and earn no more than 1 failing grade. Failure to do so may result in the student being ineligible from both practice and games until the next progress report is issued. Students can regain eligibility at mid-quarter progress report if their grades have improved to the above standard. If a student finishes the school year with less than a 2.0 GPA, he/she will not be eligible to participate in a fall sport at the beginning of the next school year.
A student must attend five sequential class periods on the day of a scheduled or make-up athletic event. Any student who is absent from school on the day of such event or who checked out of school is not eligible to participate in or attend an athletic contest or other extracurricular activities later that same day. Students serving an OSS (Out of School Suspension) or ISS (In School Suspension) are not eligible to participate in or attend a practice or a game the day of the suspension.
All student-athletes represent St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. As such, only exemplary conduct, both on and off the field, is acceptable. Appropriate dress/uniform during practices and games is required.

- 6th-8th Grade Cross Country (Boys and Girls)
- 1st - 6th Grade Soccer (Boys and Girls)
- Peewee Soccer for Jr Kindergarten & Kindergarten (Boys and Girls ages 4-6)
1st – 4th Grade Basketball (Boys and Girls)
Peewee Basketball for Jr. Kindergarten & Kindergarten (Boys and Girls ages 4-6)
Spring:
- 5th – 8th Grade Baseball & Softball
- 1st – 4th Grade Baseball & Softball
- Peewee T-Ball (Boys and Girls ages 4-6)
- Middle School Girls Soccer (Fall)
- Middle School Tennis (Fall)
- Middle School Boys Soccer (Spring)
- Middle School Track (Spring)
Forms are available at the Athletic Director's office or ONLINE.
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School participates in the Parochial Athletic Association (PAA) which is the athletic league sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. Some of the School Teams participate in the Shelby League.
