After teaching in public schools as a special education teacher for 21 years, I feel very blessed and grateful to be a teacher here at St. Francis. Thanks to my parents, I was able to attend Catholic schools from first grade through graduation. They recognized the tremendous value of a Catholic education, and I believe that is still true today. This is my 17th year at SFA, and I love the Christ-centered environment I get to work in each day. I'm a graduate of the University of Memphis and love cheering on the Tigers and Grizzlies! I love to work in my garden, bake fun recipes for tailgating, and reading. I work part-time at the Ronald McDonald house, and volunteer at St. Jude Children's Reseach Hospital during the summer. I am the coordinator of the Math-a-thon which raises money for St. Jude.
