Nursing is a dream that I have the pleasure to live! Since I was a child in Brazil, all that I could think about was becoming a nurse and taking care of children. I graduated from a renowned University (UNICAMP) in 1997 with a Bachelor degree in Nursing and did my specialization in Oncology Pediatrics. I came to the U.S.A in 2001 to improve my skills at St Jude, but before I set a foot in such a great Hospital, I had to learn English. So, I decided to enroll in an intensive English program offered by the University of Memphis where I met my husband who is from Mexico. Together, we built a beautiful family. We have three wonderful Timberwolves!
In 2017, the school nurse position at SFA became available. After working 10 years in an Emergency Room setting, I could not imagine a better opportunity to go back to work with children and at the same time be part of this great family called St Francis School! Thank you, SFA for receiving me with open arms!
