When my husband, Rick and I were looking into schools, we wanted one which would love our children, hold them to a high standard, teach them to their full potential, and have God in the center of all what they do. We chose wisely, we chose St. Francis of Assisi. When our youngest of five was starting kindergarten, I wanted to go back to teaching. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Special Education/Elementary Education and felt teaching in the Part Time Program in the 4's classroom is exactly what I wanted to do. I have been teaching now for 10 years, and as each of my own children graduated from St. Francis I felt very blessed. Each teacher that has taught my children has left their mark. They have given them the courage and pride to follow Jesus in all that they do. This year my first class at St. Francis will graduate and I pray that I to have left a positive mark on their lives.
