I am a product of Catholic schools, having graduated from St. Paul Elementary School and Bishop Byrne High School. I am a graduate of the University of Memphis, and I have been teaching at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School for 14 years. I love teaching life science and have enjoyed adding the Medical Detectives course from Project Lead the Way to my day. The Robotics club has had a very successful run the past seven years, winning awards for innovation and teamwork during the competitions at the University of Memphis. This new school year has also brought the blessings of a bountiful garden in our beautiful outdoor learning center and access from my classroom.
I have three children who attended St. Francis and then St. Benedict at Auburndale and a wonderful husband. This summer I completed my Level 1 Crossfit training course (and I enjoy that extracurricular activity like crazy!)
