Please review the steps below prior to Registration Day and have any applicable forms completed either on-line or ready to turn in. SFA faculty and staff will be available to help answer any questions you may have or point you in the right direction. If you have any questions, please ask! We are here to help!
Check or FACTS billing will be acceptable payment methods. Separate checks may be required so please plan accordingly. Just a reminder...SFA is a cash-free campus.
All families must be in good standing with the business office in order to register. Any student with a past due balance in their FACTS account will NOT be included on a class list or receive a class schedule. Please see Mrs. Tina Sosnowski in the Business Office if you have any questions or concerns.
THE FOLLOWING STATIONS WILL BE SET UP IN THE SCHOOL GYM (Not necessarily in this order):
1)SFA Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
"Join the Pack"! All SFA families are members of SFA PTO! Your FACTS account will be charged the $50 membership fee in August. Visit the PTO table for volunteer information and other PTO news. Our parent volunteers are one of the things that make SFA great!
2)SFA CHURCH -FIRST COMMUNION & CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION:
If your child is in the 2nd or 8th grade and wishes to receive the sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation at St. Francis Church, you must complete this registration form. Sacrament Registration Form - Click here
You may also use this form if your child is in another grade and did not receive their sacraments at the traditional time.

4) SFA CAFE
GRADES 1st-8th: Parents be sure to activate your "My Payments Plus" account! See below for step-by-step details. Student account numbers will be available to all families at the SFA Cafe table on Registration Day or you may email Sandra Cole at any time.
Cash is no longer accepted in the SFA Cafe. For your convenience, SFA is using the "My Payment Plus" program for adding funds to your child's lunch account and tracking purchases. Checks will also still be accepted.
To Purchase the 1st Semester Meal Plan - contact Ms. Cole.
GRADES 3K, 4K, 5K: Student's lunch must be purchased in advance - ONLINE ONLY. Go to school webiste>quick links>lunch menu
Orders must be placed by Thursday, August 8th. Lunch will be served beginning August 12th for all 3K,4K,5K students who have PRE-PURCHASED by August 8th.

Starting in the Fall, after-school activities are offered for an additional fee. You do not have to be registered in Extended Care to participate in these activities. More information will be available at registration.
ALL GRADES: Read, sign and return the SFA Technology Acceptable Use Policy for students to use any SFA electronic device. You may turn this form in at this table.
PARENTS OF 6th-8th Grade Students - in addition to the Acceptable Use Policy above, please complete the ParentResponsibilities Form below and attend a REQUIRED technology parent meeting for your student to be assigned a laptop on the first day of school. You may turn this form in at this table.
SCHOOLOGY Learning Management System Information - visit the Technology table at registration to pick up your parent access codes (for all new families or any current families who have not activated an account).
Technology Meetings: (for New Middle School Students, Parents and ALL 6th Grade Students)
The Technology meeting is for middle school parents of students who are new to SFA as well as ALL 6th grade students who will transition from iPads to laptops. During the meeting, we will review the SFA Acceptable Use Policy, the Parent Responsibility form, the Apple Care Warranty, and Securly, our internet protection program.
IMPORTANT: Students will not receive a school-issued laptop unless one of their parents/guardian has attended a technology meeting. If you have any questions about the meeting or the above-mentioned forms, please contact Mrs. Vicki Torres at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meetings will be held at 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm, or 5:30 pm in the Middle School STEM Classroom JN111. Meetings are first come, first serve and will last about 20 minutes with a maximum attendance of approx. 50 adults per session.

12) MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS TRIPS
Stop by this table to find out more information about the overnight field trips for middle school students.
All 5th - 8th-grade students that plan to play an SFA sport during the 2019–2020 school year will need to have a physical and the medical forms on file with the Athletic Director, Mrs. Kareen Baird along with the Concussion Information Sheet and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information Sheet. For Fall sports, these forms must be on file by Monday, July 22nd. All others can be turned in at Registration, if not already completed. Please click the link for the 5th-8th grade Sports Packet:
All 4K-4th grade athletes are required to complete both the Concussion Information Sheet and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information Sheet. These forms must be signed by the athlete and the parent and need to be on file with the Athletic Director, Mrs. Kareen Baird prior to the start of practice or games. See the Medical Forms Packet below for students in 4K-4th grades.
14) REQUIRED CHAIR BAGS & HAPPI NAPPI'S FOR K-5TH GRADE
REQUIRED ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES FOR K-5TH GRADE - In addition to the school supplies listed above, all students are required to bring the additional supplies requested for their grade level on the first day of school. For your convenience, starred items* will be sold at Registration. Click the document below for the list of supplies.
IMPORTANT: These additional supplies are not included in the school supply lists or pre-packaged supply kit.
