Mrs. Laurie Fullen

My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 23 years. We live in Germantown, TN with our four children. Noah is attending Southeast Missouri State University. Jacob is headed to UT Martin this fall. Sara is a sophomore at SBA and Asher is a fifth grader at SFA. We have been a part of the SFA family for 14 years.

 

I have a passion for helping children learn to read. Being the parent of two dyslexic children myself, I have a unique perspective and opportunity to see things from both sides. I am SMILA trained and certified and although you'll see me most in the front office, I am excited for Hazel to join me this year in supporting our RISE students as they work to build their reading skills. She earned her Therapy Dog certification this summer and joined the SFA family.

 

Fun facts...I LOVE ANIMALS! Obviously, I'm a sucker for a Golden Retriever. I have two goldens, Hazel and Becks, a mini schnauzer named Dash, two Silver Appleyards named Max and LuLu, and a Dutch Warmblood named Finn, who my daughter rides competitively.
