I believe it is important to meet the challenges of students as they progress through formal education, and after graduation ensure they are armed with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the academic knowledge and strategies necessary to become productive, faithful members of society.
My professional career spans 30 years of classroom and administrative school experience and some experience in the business sector. Some of you may know me from my time as the PLUS administrator at St. Benedict at Auburndale. I have returned to my roots here on this campus. I started on this campus in 1989 when my own three children came to elementary school with me each day. This village helped me raise my children and I helped to raise quite a few children on this campus too. As an entrepreneur and business owner I developed a math tool to remind and aid students with basic math skills. We will use this tool in the PLUS classroom this year.
My hobbies are golf, and golf, and golf! I am a proud grandmother of a grandson and a granddaughter. My husband Vince is a safety director and project manager for IMC in Memphis. We live in Lakeland.
My Catholic faith is important to me and I look forward to sharing the spiritual life so evident here at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School each day.
