Hello! I'm Linda Thomas and I am so very excited to be part of the SFA family. This is my first year at SFA and I'm so excited for the new school year. I graduated from Southwestern University in Dallas, as well as attended the University of New Orleans. This is my 21st year teaching. I moved to Memphis 6 years ago from New Orleans, when I married my wonderful husband Vincent. We have one adult daughter whose name is Alesia. I've spent the last six years teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School. The first 3 years I taught English Language Arts grades 4-6, and the past 3 years I was the Religion Coordinator, teaching PreK 3 - 6th grade Religion. I became Catholic 10 years ago in New Orleans while teaching at the Academy of Our Lady High School. What Fun!!! When I'm not teaching I enjoy traveling, walking, reading, and listening to audiobooks. I've been a movie watcher for 19 years, so every Wednesday I go to the theater. I saw Aladdin five times during the summer. I know right??? So fun!!!! I've been to all but 10 of the 50 states. Some of my favorite spots where I've lived are Colorado, California, Michigan, Seattle, and the home state of Louisiana. Geaux Saints!!!
