Hello! I'm Linda Thomas and I am so very excited to be part of the SFA family. This is my 2nd year at SFA and I'm so excited for the new school year. This marks the beginning of year 23 in my teaching career. I graduated from Southwestern University in Dallas, as well as attended the University of New Orleans. I moved to Memphis 7 years ago from New Orleans, when I married Mr. Thomas. We're both educators with one adult daughter. I spent six years teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School in the Memphis Metro. The first 3 years I taught English Language Arts, then became the Religion Coordinator, teaching PreK 3 - 6th grade Religion. I became Catholic 11 years ago in New Orleans, while teaching at the Academy of Our Lady High School. What Fun!!! When I'm not teaching I enjoy dancing, walking, reading, and listening to audiobooks. My favorite movie is Aladdin. So fun!!!! I've been to all but 10 of the 50 states. Some of my favorite spots I've lived are Colorado, California, Michigan, Seattle, and the home state of Louisiana. Geaux Saints!!!
