Chelsea Negray

I am looking forward to teaching my second year here at SFA.  Before coming to teach at St. Francis, I taught in the public school system for 8 years, teaching 6-12th grade band, marching band, orchestra, wind ensemble, AP theory, and chamber ensembles.  

 

I have had the great privilege of conducting the Traditional Adult Choir of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for the past 5 years, as well as the handbell choir.  The SFA middle school choir has been able to sing in several Masses last year, which was always appreciated by the congregation.  

 

In my free time, I love to cook, travel, and go to every festival available here in Memphis!  My favorite city to visit is New Orleans - the food, the music, the atmosphere, the history - I love it!
