Edline
What is Edline?
Edline is an Internet based program that allows you weekly access to your child’s grades,
assignments, and much more. Students in grades 5 – 8 will have grades posted each week for
review on Friday. You can access the Edline site at http://www.edline.net.
Students in grades Jr.K – 4 will use Edline for general information newsletters, etc. Edline
also offers important school announcements, lunch menus, sports schedules, and Home and
School information.
Who can have an account?
Every student, teacher, and parent has an account reserved in the system.
- If you are a returning SFACS student and have an Active Edline Account, your account will remain active for the
2008-2009 School year and you do not need to take any further action.
- If you are a New SFACS student or have NOT activated your Edline account, please stop by the Edline table located outside the LIBRARY in ST. JOSEPH HALL on Registration
day for an activation code.
What if I have more than one child at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School?
Edline offers the ability for the user to link all of your children’s accounts on one page. For
the new users, directions will be sent with your access code. Anyone with an existing account,
send us an e-mail and we will forward the directions to you or arrange for a time for you to
come in to the computer lab.
What if I have questions about my Edline account?
For Edline Setup Guide and Questions, please visit www.edline.net/HelpIndex.page or email randie.moore@sfaschool.cdom.org
What if I have questions about a grade my child has received?
A link to each teacher’s email is included for your convenience.
How do I know if I have something new posted to my account?
Edline will send you e-mail each time something new is posted to your account.
Do I have to have load software to my computer?
No, this service is Internet based so all you need is access to the Internet. You can check from
home, work, or the library – anywhere that has access to the Internet.
Do I share an account with my child?
No, each child has an account as well as the parents. We encourage you to keep the “parent”
account separate from the “student” account, just in case there is a note or comment from the
teacher that is intended for the parents only.
